Mohamed K. Adenwalla, MD
Retina Surgeon
Dr. Adenwalla was born in Japan. He grew up in Kobe, Japan attending an American International School. He came to the US for his higher education and graduated from Georgetown University with an undergraduate degree in biology and a Master of Science in Physiology and Biophysics. Dr. Adenwalla came to Chicago for his medical education. He completed his Doctor of Medicine degree at The Chicago Medical School in North Chicago. He finished his ophthalmology residency training at the J.H. Stroger Hospital of Cook County after an internship in internal medicine at Evanston Hospital. Dr. Adenwalla completed his training in Vitreo-Retinal Surgery with a fellowship at the University of British Columbia/Vancouver General Hospital in Canada.
Dr. Adenwalla, his wife, and two sons reside in Chicago. His wife practices optometry in Chicago. Dr. Adenwalla loves the outdoors and he enjoys traveling with his family.
Dr. Adenwalla is the director of the Retina Associates/Cook County Hospital Retina fellowship program.
